Our goal in February was to cover a lot of ground and visit nine churches that were mostly outside of our normal sphere of meetings. This included several in Texas, Alabama, and Arkansas. Many of these stops included churches of friends and family which always adds an extra blessing to the meeting! We praise the Lord that February also brought us our greatest month-over-month support increase, from 87% to 97%!
My dad’s surgery that was mentioned in the last prayer letter was successful, and his recovery has gone as scheduled. Thank you to the many who prayed and also contacted him regarding the surgery.
One more answer to prayer is that the border restrictions in New Zealand appear to be easing after two years of lockdown. It appears that our support level and the border opening will coincide as we’ve been praying.
It was a blessing to hear Pastor Gomez and Pastor Anglea preach at a conference while in Texas and to see many friends faithfully serving in various ministries while in that meeting.
Several soulwinning opportunities this month included going with a youth group in Texas and also with a missionary friend while at my home church one weekend. Other opportunities at various restaurants and laundromats gave occasion to witness, although with no immediate fruit from it the past few weeks.
Thank you for faithfully praying for our personal requests as well as our ministry requests! We have fifteen more meetings on our schedule and praise the Lord for providing a full calendar up through the end of May.
