Throughout January, we presented our ministry in six Illinois churches. God worked out our schedule to avoid the Midwest snowstorms that came frequently this month! It was a special blessing to be with two Providence Baptist College graduates this month: Pastor Jeremy Huston at Foundation Baptist Church in Cary, IL and Pastor Jason Moncofsky at Grace Baptist Church in Quincy, IL. I watched these men serve God faithfully with the "little" God gave them in Bible college, and now God has entrusted them with their own churches. Recent church plants always have a unique spirit due to the amount of new Christians and the zeal they bring to a ministry. (Something we can all learn from, as crusty Christians!) We are excited to replicate these churches some day soon in New Zealand!

Our support percentage bumped up to 22% towards the end of the month after hearing from a few previous meetings in the Fall. Whether it’s hearing about new support from pastors or receiving encouraging texts and emails from church members, we hardly go a day or two without someone reaching out to us. We are overwhelmed by the amount of people praying for and contacting us. Although there are no new prayer requests regarding visitors of our own to our home church (as we’ve been at Northwest for Saturday visitation), we were able to share the gospel with a number of people this month through the visiting times as well as on various errands.

Safety in travel is our priority prayer request this month as we’ll be jumping between Illinois and Indiana with a full schedule of churches to visit. Thank you for your prayers for our family.
